"Gift of Art" CampaignMembership Categories | "Gift of Art" Campaign | Wish List | Docents & Volunteers Charlevoix Circle of Art is proud to announce they received 501 (c) 3 approval as an educational/cultural public charity organization, from the Department of the Treasury’s Internal Revenue Service. This is an important leap forward, distinguishing their operations as a not-for-profit entity. Although the Circle of Arts has used a fiduciary since its inception, the organization is now qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts independently. Other regional art organizations with this designation include Crooked Tree Arts Center, Jordan River Arts Council, Traverse City Art Center, Dennos Museum and the Cheboygan Area Arts Council. The Gift of Art 2010 and BeyondThe Circle of Arts has initiated a fundraising campaign “The Gift of Art -2010 and Beyond.” Donations are for operating expenses unless otherwise designated. Contributions can be made to the Charlevoix Circle of Arts, P.O. Box 617, Charlevoix, MI 49720. With the public’s generosity, we can all look ahead to a full slate of engaging visual art exhibits, workshops, classes and events for next year. The goal is to expand programming into the music, performing arts and other cultural arenas that will reach out to all, serving to educate and culturally enrich the Charlevoix community. Sympathy and Celebration GiftsThe Charlevoix Circle of Arts welcomes gifts of all sizes and for all reasons. Please consider making a gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a happy occasion. We are so grateful for your support. You may make a donation by credit card (at the Circle or by phone... online coming soon); or by check payable to Charlevoix Circle of Arts and mailed to P.O. Box 617, Charlevoix, Michigan, 49720. You may also contact us at 231-547-3554. We also have donation cards available at the Circle. You may make a donation and have us send the appropiate card to the recipient. We also have packs of four donation cards for $100, which you can take home and send out yourself when an occasion arises. All gifts are fully tax-deductible. You will receive a written acknowledgement of your donation, which you should keep for your financial records. |
