YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS
WE AIM TO INSPIRE YOUTH! STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO HARNESS THEIR OWN CREATIVITY, BUILD PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS & LEARN DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES. ALL WHILE GETTING A LITTLE MESSY!
ALL classes & workshops are held in our garden level art & dance studios accessible by stairs only unless otherwise noted.
ART CAMP
JUNE 17 - 21, 2024
Monday - Friday, 9am - 12pm
Ages: 7 - 12
Fee: $125 or $112 for members.
Students bring:
Water bottle & snack each day.

DANCE CAMP
JUNE 24 - 28, 2024
Monday - Friday, 10am - 12pm
Ages: 7 - 12
Fee: $125 or $112 for members.

THEME: TANGLED
Come enhance your ballet skills in this Tangled themed Camp! We invite you to join us as we gracefully chasse into the world of Repunzel. This camp is designed for kiddos who love ballet (or dance in general) while enjoying the company of good friends and fun games! Dancers will learn ballet inspired choreography and create beautiful Repunzel themed crafts to use as a prop and to take home.
Dress code: black leggings, solid colored t-shirt, and socks to move easy around in. Or, if student has previous dance experience, a leotard (solid color) tights and ballet shoes.
INSTRUCTOR: Annie Hindle

THEME: PETER AND THE WOLF
Come learn to tell a story through music, dance and fun!
In this 5 day work shop we will be learning musicality and story telling through movement with a ballet/modern focus. Children will learn how to dance and move their bodies to depict each character from the exciting fairy tale symphony by Sergei Prokofiev, Peter and The Wolf. During the 5 days we will also be creating a themed craft to use as a prop as we dance, and to take home.
Dress code: black leggings, solid colored t-shirt, and socks to move easy around in. Or, if student has previous dance experience, a leotard (solid color) tights and ballet shoes.

THEME: DANCING THE WAVE
Free style dance and movement to find your flow, rhythm and creativity!
In this 5 day work shop we will explore the 5 rhythms of modern dance. Flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness. Each day we will focus on one rhythm at a time. Through interactive games and fun music we will explore how to move our bodies in a unique way based on the rhythm of the music. We will also include a themed craft to use as a prop and to take home at the end of the week.
