With instructor Bethany "Beamer" Baumann! 

No experience required! Creative, fun, and lively class filled with lots of opportunity for your child to learn rhythm and timing. Foot, ankle and core muscles will all be strengthened while learning how to balance and isolate different muscles in the foot. This class will lay a foundation for tap using games and fun choreography to keep your child engaged. Students will learn a complete dance in 10 weeks and have the opportunity to show family and friends their new skills at the RECITAL DECEMBER!

Dress Code for Class:
Black Tap shoes and leotard required. Hair neatly pulled back and no jewelry.

Recital Information:

Costume measurements and costume payment due first week of class. 

Please Note: You do not have to participate in the recital. 

Students unable to attend dress rehearsal will not be able to perform at recital. If student is unable to participate in recital please notify instructor first week of class. Students are expected to practice the choreography taught each week on their own time to ensure they are prepared to perform. Miss Beamer reserves the right to deny any student the privilege to perform in the recital due to poor attendance, lack of practice, or inability to listen to instructions that could risk individuals or classmates physical safety.

Ages 7 - 11

No experience required! In a non-competitive atmosphere students will learn how to make complex rhythms with their feet at a pace they can thrive and build confidence. This upbeat, lively class will teach the fundamentals of tap, basic pattern and choreography memorization using drills and fun games. Students will learn a complete dance in 13 weeks and have the opportunity to show family and friends their new skills at the RECITAL IN DECEMBER!

Dress Code for Class:
Black Tap shoes and leotard or black leggings and black top required. Hair neatly pulled back and no jewelry.

Ages 11 - 14 & Advanced

With instructor Bethany "Beamer" Baumann! 
No experience required! Students will learn the foundation of tap dance with warm up, across the floor combinations, and engaging tap dance drills. This class will have an emphasis on performance skills and tap vocabulary. Students will learn an entire routine to perform in the December recital to show friends and family! This is an upbeat class with plenty of challenges to keep tappers engaged and excited to practice their new skills. Session is 13 weeks with RECITAL IN DECEMBER!

Dress Code for Class:  

Hair neatly pulled back. No jewelry. No long baggy pants with hem length past the ankle. Black T-shirt and black shorts or athletic tapered pants/leggings preferred.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Weather-Related 
In the event that Charlevoix Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, classes will be cancelled. To the best of our ability, CCA will schedule a make-up class. Refunds will not be provided if the student is unable to attend a rescheduled class.

Minimum Enrollment
If a class does not have the minimum number of students enrolled, CCA will notify you prior to the first session that the class is cancelled and will offer a full refund to the student. (Credit card payments will be refunded to the same card and check & cash payments will be refunded by check.)

Student Withdrawal

Due to artist/instructor preparations and travel, we do not provide refunds.
