JAY FAZIO

Jay Fazio is an artist born and raised in northern Michigan and is currently studying at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. At CCS, Jay studies Interdisciplinary Art, which allows them to pursue a wide range of themes and mediums in their work. As an artist, Jay's main goal is currently to experiment with how different mediums contribute conceptually to their work, and they find a lot of enjoyment in incorporating the looseness of play into their work. Jay is a firm believer that creating art is the most fun when there is less pressure to create something perfect and more space for creativity and experimentation, because the purpose of art is to be a voice and sense of expression.
