Summer Camps
WE AIM TO INSPIRE YOUTH! STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO HARNESS THEIR OWN CREATIVITY, BUILD PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS & LEARN DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES. ALL WHILE GETTING A LITTLE MESSY!
ALL classes & workshops are held in our garden level art & dance studios accessible by stairs only unless otherwise noted.
ART CAMP
JUNE 22 - 26, 2026
"Garden Party"
Monday - Friday, 9am - 12pm
Ages: 7 - 12
Fee: $125 or $112.50 for members.
Students bring:
Water bottle & snack each day.
THEME: GARDEN PARTY
During this week of art camp students will have the chance to work collaboratively on group art installations designed to be displayed outdoors. These projects will emphasize teamwork, creative thinking and the use of natural and upcycled materials. This special segment of the camp encourages outdoor engagement and offers a unique opportunity for participants to see their artwork in the environment, utilizing wind power, while also giving birds a place to make their own.
Each camper will create and build a bird house and other outdoor creations like whirly gigs and garden art!

ART CAMP
JULY 13 - 17, 2026
"The Big and Small of It"
Monday - Friday, 9am - 12pm
Ages: 7 - 12
Fee: $125 or $112.50 for members.
Students bring:

THEME: THE BIG AND SMALL OF IT
Campers will experiment with a wide variety of materials, including wood, papier-mache, found objects and recycled materials. These resources will be used to create three-dimensional sculptures and wall reliefs. Throughout these activities students will learn about form, balance, positive and negative space, scale and the importance of teamwork.
Each camper will create both large scale sculptures and vessels!

AUGUST 24 - 28, 2026
"Porch Party"
Monday - Friday, 9am - 12pm
Ages: 7 - 12
Fee: $125 or $112.50 for members.
Students bring:
Water bottle & snack each day.
THEME: PORCH PARTY
During this week of art camp students will engage in furniture design concepts and learning about various mosaic designs. Using recycled ceramic tiles, small flat stones found and glass blobs to create their own mosaic tabletops and painting the legs to match the design.
Each camper will take home a table and mirror of their design for their room or porch!

CANCELLATION POLICY
Student Withdrawal
Due to artist/instructor preparations and travel, we do not provide refunds.
Weather-Related
In the event that Charlevoix Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, classes will be cancelled. To the best of our ability, CCA will schedule a make-up class. Refunds will not be provided if the student is unable to attend a rescheduled class.

Minimum Enrollment
If a class does not have the minimum number of students enrolled, CCA will notify you prior to the first session that the class is cancelled and will offer a full refund to the student. (Credit card payments will be refunded to the same card and check & cash payments will be refunded by check.)
