Rebecca & John
Rebecca Rhea began coming to Charlevoix as a young child when she vacationed here with her family. Fortunate to live and work in national parks all over the United States while enjoying a rewarding career with the National Park Service, she and her husband moved to Northern Michigan after retirement. Her interest in photography keeps growing and her favorite subjects are natural landscapes and native plants and wildlife. Northern Michigan is the perfect place to pursue her interests.
Rebecca is a board member of the Charlevoix Photography Club. She uses a Sony digital camera. Rebecca enjoys the challenges of both the technical and the creative aspects of photography. John Doskoch
John started his photography journey decades ago as a child, using the old Kodak box type cameras to take pictures. John has always loved being out in nature and observing wildlife. Today he spends many hours out of doors with his Sony camera, capturing images of birds and other wildlife. John also took up drone photography, and is now a commercially certified drone pilot. Local aerial shots are another specialty he practices. John is President of the Charlevoix Photography Club. John can be reached at jedoskoch@gmail.com
