About
TERI CRANDELL

I am a Northern Michigan artist living in Petoskey. I spent 22 years in Washington State and fell in love with glass art. I love art in all of its forms but I am smitten with glass!
I first learned how to make glass beads, using a torch and glass rods, turning them into jewelry. I then started taking classes at various hot shops in Seattle, learning how to blow glass into bowls, ornaments, and flowers. Since moving to Petoskey full-time, 6 years ago, I have pursued learning and making Fused Glass.
I have a studio in Petoskey with a kiln where I can make glass art, pottery and paint. It is where I spend many hours doing what I love! My inspiration comes from all around. Sunsets, flowers, the different blues in water. Glass gives me a unique medium to play with color and see what new and different forms I can imagine with it and create!
