SPOTLIGHT ON INNOVATION

EXHIBIT RUNS:  January 26 - February 24, 2024

OPENING RECEPTION with Scholarship & Awards Presentation: Friday, January 26 from 5-7pm.

Our annual regional high school student art exhibit! Come and see unique works from 11th & 12th grade budding artists from Charlevoix County and the surrounding area!  With scholarship awards from Kendall College of Art & Design of Ferris State University, and CCA prize awards. 
 

Participating Schools: Boyne City High School, Charlevoix High School, East Jordan High School.
CCA awards judge: Cal Kemppainen, artist

Amy Vos Dillinger, admissions counselor at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University will be at CCA on Saturday, Feb. 3rd. To schedule a time contact your student's art teacher or Laura@charlevoixcircle.org .

Artistry in Woodturning and Quilting

Showcasing original works by the Northwestern Michigan Woodturners Club and curated Charlevoix area quilters.

In parallel, explore the rich tradition of quilting, where fabric becomes a canvas for storytelling. Admire the meticulous stitching and vibrant patterns that adorn each quilt, reflecting the passion and skill of the quilters. From traditional designs to modern interpretations, this exhibit showcases the diverse and evolving world of quilting.

MICHIGAN WATERCOLOR SOCIETY SIGNATURE EXHIBITION

EXHIBIT RUNS: April 19 - May 18, 2024

OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, April 19th,  5 - 7pm

Signature and Great Lakes Fellow Membership Show

Charlevoix Circle of Arts is thrilled to host the Michigan Water Color Society (MWCS) Signature Exhibition. This show is open to MWCS Signature status members and Great Lakes Fellow designated members. The top 50 pieces will be curated for this exhibition.

 

Artists qualify for Signature status by being juried into at least four MWCS exhibitions. Currently, 68 exceptional artists hold this status. Signature members who have also completed a three-year term on the board receive a Great Lakes Fellow designation to honor their volunteer service. There are currently 19 Great Lakes Fellows.

Charlevoix Photography Club
15th Annual Juried Exhibition

EXHIBIT RUNS:  May 31 - June 15, 2024
OPENING RECEPTION & Awards Presentation: 
Friday, May 31st from 5 - 7pm.

The Charlevoix Photography Club, Inc. (CPC) and Charlevoix Circle of Arts is pleased to accept submissions for its fifteenth Annual Juried Photography Exhibition.
 

This exhibition is open to any local photographers and all current members of the Charlevoix Photography Club. 
REGISTRATION INFORMATION (coming soon).

 

Cash prizes will be given for first, second and third place images in each of the six categories.  The juror will also select images for Honorable Mention.
