Born and raised in Charlevoix, Sarah has spent her career in the nonprofit sector and has extensive experience in fundraising, grant writing and nonprofit management. She received a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, and a graduate certificate in nonprofit leadership from Grand Valley State University.


In 2014, Sarah and her husband returned to Northern Michigan to raise their two children close to family and friends and in a community they love. Since then, Sarah has become involved in many local organizations, including board member of the Rayder Enrichment Foundation, Recreation Advisory Committee member for the City of Charlevoix, and the founding member of the Women Who Care Charlevoix Giving Circle. 


Sarah is extremely passionate about the Circle’s mission and impact in the community. She takes pride in helping to create a community hub that brings local artists and art lovers together, and provides new, creative opportunities for locals and visitors of all ages.


Erika Kilkenny

Administrative Assistant

Erika is a graduate of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI where she earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Fine Arts.

She also spent a significant amount of time living and working in Marquette, MI, Denver, CO, and Richmond, VA. 

She has over 15 years experience in office management, marketing, web and social media development and management as well as communications and & customer service.

Erika grew up in Charlevoix and is extremely passionate about our community.  She loves spending time on the trails and beaches around northern Michigan with her husband Patrick and their two daughters.


Larissa Flynn

Exhibits Coordinator

Larissa grew up in Berkley within the Detroit area surrounded by her parent's businesses of art galleries and framing.  Larissa went on to attend Kendall College of Art & Design, and for Creative Studies where she studied fine art, illustration, graphic design and art direction.

She is a working artist and designer focusing on oil painting. 

Larissa has extensive professional experience in the art world from owning and operating galleries, marketing, fundraising and creative directing.

Larissa and her husband have lived in northern Michigan for over 20 years where they have raised their daughter and have enjoyed all of northern Michigan's splendor and skiing.
