Intro to Ballet
For Ages 4 - 6
Next Session is Fall 2023
CLASS FEE:
Minimum # of students to hold the class = 4
Maximum # of students per class = 9
With instructor Beamer Baumann!
No experience required! This class will introduce students to the flow of a ballet class. Barre, Centre, and Reverence will be taught in creative ways to awaken a love for ballet and lyrical movement. Your child will be encouraged to use their imagination, discipline their body, and learn the art of performing all while playing games and memorizing choreography. Students will learn a complete dance in 10 weeks and have the opportunity to show family and friends their new skills at the RECITAL!
Dress Code for Class:
Pink Ballet shoes and leotard required. Hair neatly pulled back and no jewelry.
Recital Information:
Costume measurements and costume payment due first week of class.
Please Note: You do not have to participate in the recital.
Students unable to attend dress rehearsal will not be able to perform at the recital. If student is unable to participate in recital please notify instructor first week of class. Students are expected to practice the choreography taught each week on their own time to ensure they are prepared to perform. Miss Beamer reserves the right to deny any student the privilege to perform in the recital due to poor attendance, lack of practice, or inability to listen to instructions that could risk individuals or classmates physical safety.

Lyrical Ballet 1
For Ages 7 - 11
Next Session is Fall 2023
CLASS FEE:
Minimum # of students to hold the class = 4
Maximum # of students per class = 8
With instructor Beamer Baumann!
No experience required! In a non-competitive atmosphere students will learn the typical ballet barre warm up and dance technique. Using the foundation of ballet, this class will explore lyrical movement with the body paired with emotional performance techniques. Participants will be encouraged to use their imaginations and have fun all while learning the discipline of ballet. Students will learn a complete dance in 13 weeks and have the opportunity to show family and friends their new skills at the RECITAL IN DECEMBER!
Dress Code for Class:
Pink Ballet shoes and leotard or black leggings and black top required. Hair neatly pulled back and no jewelry.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Weather-Related
In the event that Charlevoix Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, classes will be cancelled. To the best of our ability, CCA will schedule a make-up class. Refunds will not be provided if the student is unable to attend a rescheduled class.
Minimum Enrollment
If a class does not have the minimum number of students enrolled, CCA will notify you prior to the first session that the class is cancelled and will offer a full refund to the student. (Credit card payments will be refunded to the same card and check & cash payments will be refunded by check.)
Student Withdrawal
Due to artist/instructor preparations and travel, we do not provide refunds.
