No experience required.
This class is an introduction to a structured ballet class. It will consist mainly of center work with an intro to barre. Dancers will learn the basics of ballet class etiquette. There is lots of room for fun, energetic movement exploration while balancing it with the discipline of ballet and working together respectfully.
Session ends with a showcase finale!
Dress Code for Class:
Pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Boys can wear white t-shirt black form fitting pants.
Hair neatly pulled back and no jewelry.

Building upon the foundations of beginning ballet. In this class dancers will be introduced to more intricate steps in barre and center work, rhythm will be explored as well. In addition, the French vocabulary will be taught and explained as we learn terminology. A notebook and pen will be needed for this class.
(If your student has completed Ballet 1, please contact Miss Annie to see if they may advance to Ballet 2).
Session ends with showcase finale!
Dress Code for Class:
Black leotard with pink tights and pink ballet shoes. Boys can wear white t-shirt black form fitting pants.

Session 2
For Ages 10 - 14 or experienced
12 week session - 2 days per week
JANUARY 20 - APRIL 21, 2025
Mondays, 6:15 - 7pm AND
Wednesdays 4:15 - 5pm
CLASS FEE:
$320 for non-members
$288 for members​​

Maximum # of students per class = 9
With instructor Annie Hindle!
This class is for students who have previous ballet experience. Centre and barre work will now be combinations and choreography. Turns and leaps will be introduced. Dancers will focus on their technique. A notebook and pen will be needed for this class.
Session ends with showcase finale!

CANCELLATION POLICY

Weather-Related
In the event that Charlevoix Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, classes will be cancelled. To the best of our ability, CCA will schedule a make-up class. Refunds will not be provided if the student is unable to attend a rescheduled class.

Minimum Enrollment
If a class does not have the minimum number of students enrolled, CCA will notify you prior to the first session that the class is cancelled and will offer a full refund to the student. (Credit card payments will be refunded to the same card and check & cash payments will be refunded by check.)

Student Withdrawal
Due to artist/instructor preparations and travel, we do not provide refunds.
